CHAVENESE POWELL

Dr. Chavenese Powell is a Jamaican physiotherapist who is a honors graduate of the University of West Indies School of Physical Therapy.

Prior to joining the team of therapists at Cayman Rehab Services in June 2019, Ms. Powell worked closely with leading orthopaedic surgeons and sports physicians in Jamaica for over 3 years. There she rehabilitated post-surgery and non-surgical orthopaedic and sports injuries.

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, Chavenese received certification in acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization and cupping and was able to obtain her doctorate degree April 2023.  Though competent in treating a variety of cases across the life span, from pediatric to elderly, she specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation including work and ergonomic related injuries, sports injuries, arthritic conditions, fractures, post-surgical cases etc. Currently, she is one of the physiotherapists at the Cayman Islands Football Association.

Chavenese is not only passionate about her career but she sees it as her purpose as she is driven by helping others.
